Why We Exist
Here's what proposing abroad actually looks like.

You can't research properly — she's right there. Every Google search is a risk. Every phone call, she might hear. Every tab you leave open, she might see.
So the most important moment of her life gets planned in stolen five-minute windows, with half the information, completely alone, in a city you've never been to.
We've seen this happen too many times. Men arriving in one of the most beautiful places in the world with the ring in their pocket and no plan — and proposals that could have been extraordinary ending up ordinary.
We decided to do something about it.

The Founder
Caterina.
She started La Proposta after moving to Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. She watched couples being photographed and married in the same handful of tourist spots, while the most authentic corners of the city stayed hidden and undiscovered. So now she asks how you want the moment to feel — and builds it backwards from your answer. The place, the light, the flowers, the words on the paper.
Alongside her, a small trusted team handles operations, locations and photography — the same people on every proposal.
